Our facility will be closed as of January 4, 2010, in order to move to our new facility at 100 N. Hamilton Street on the Capitol Square. The new museum is scheduled to open in late 2010, so please join us on or before January 3 to say farewell to all of your State Street favorites!

In March 2009, construction began on MCM’s new home, located at 100 N. Hamilton Street. Three locations, each larger than the last, have accommodated the museum’s steady growth over the last 29 years, but now we’re getting ready to move into our permanent home. This four-story building on Madison’s Capitol Square will have more than three times the space of the museum’s current facility, with an additional two floors for future expansion. Much looked-forward-to amenities such as on-site parking, family bathrooms, increased stroller parking and a café will enhance the visitor experience.
